JOB TITLE: Senior Training Officer
LOCATION: Ellesmere Port, Cheshire
SALARY: £23,000 - £25,000 per annum
DURATION: Permanent

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for induction of new starters.
Manage & coordinate the work load of 3 full time trainers & 7 part time trainers
Organise external training from initial training request, contacting training provider to selection of training candidates, examples of courses run external - first aid, fire warden, working at heights etc
Responsible for all aspects of NVQ's on site
Develop & deliver in house training i.e. appraisal training, disciplinary/grievance training, time management, customer care etc
Develop & deliver management training & supervisory training
Have responsibility for IIP
Manage apprentice program
Manage graduate program
Manage annual appraisal process
Develop and maintain training plan for 750 employees
Update & maintain training files & database for 750 employees

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Previous experience of working in a training role within a manufacturing environment
CIPD qualified or working towards CIPD qualification
Hold D32 / D33 assessor qualification
Knowledge of IIP standards
