JOB TITLE: IT HelpDesk Co-ordinator
LOCATION: Gaydon, Warwickshire
SALARY: £9.00 - £9.50 per hour
DURATION: Temporary until Feb 2011

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide a first point of contact for all helpdesk issues
• Log all queries and IT change requests
• Provide regular feedback to the customer
• Assign tasks to 1st / 2nd line helpdesk analysts
• Escalate tasks to 3rd line IT Infrastructure team as required
• Provide an effective interface between the IT Support function and the business
• Use PC based Helpdesk support request system to log calls and provide an audit trail to call resolution
• Check and distribute new hardware to users
• Follow helpdesk processes and procedures

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN A SIMILAR ROLE IS ESSENTIAL.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a Help Desk/Support Centre/Call Centre/Service Desk
• Extremely well organised
• Able to work well under pressure
• Customer Service oriented
• Good attention to detail
• Able to efficiently prioritise tasks
• Able to communicate to all levels of the business
• Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
• Knowledge of and experience with enterprise and desktop applications and hardware
• Experience with a service management tool (e.g. Support works, Infra, Remedy, HEAT, ITSM)
• Must show willingness to follow verbal or written instructions
• Automotive experience would be beneficial
